We encourage everybody to choose Jesus Christ as personal saviour. For those who once become Christian, it is a must to be a true disciple of Jesus in order to enjoy everyday life with Jesus. As every one on earth has a deposit in him to be used by God, we encourage everybody still alive to believe in Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, and to get ready to be used by Him and Him only. At work, at school, at home, in church, on the way of everyday life, there is a way to obey Him and accept Him as his saviour. After that, like the first believers, the person can receive the Holy Spirit, and be sent at work for God in everything we do. That is the only way to please God and accept God’s grace which enables us to respond to his love. Paul wrote that we "can do all things through Christ who strengthens us". Phil. 4: 13; and that, as it is written, "He who glories, let him glory in the Lord". 1Cor.1: 31. We are committed to follow the Holy Bible and encourage others to become true followers of Jesus Christ, the only way for Eternal Life.

We have been called by God and responded. We accepted to make Jesus vision our mission on earth. We are determined to call any body God put on our way and tell him about the Gospel of Jesus, the power of the death of Jesus on the cross and the salvation available for anyone calls upon the name of Jesus to get his sins forgiven. "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God" John 3 : 17-21.

I believe in the Trinity of God. I believe that the name of Jesus and Jesus only, is the only SAVING NAME. There is no other name on earth and in Heaven given by God to human being through which we get saved and become partakers of the inheritance of the Kingdom of God. Col.1: 12. Our statement of faith is related to the one of Evangelical Missionary Churches in Canada, the congregation through which we started our ministry. One of his branches in Toronto named Abasaruzi Missionary Church, lead by Pastor Wilfred Rusibira, accepted to be used by God to help us and to officiate the ceremony of starting our church from April 23, 2005. We have been working with Abasaruzi Missionary Church long time before we come to Windsor in 2004. It is our mother church. We are committed together to promote the same calling of Jesus through church planting ministry.

We are Pastors of the Church of The Living God in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. This is the translation of its meaning from Kinyarwanda "Itorero ry’Imana Nzima" We originally named our church after Exodus 3: 13-14 when Moses asked God the right name to tell to the Israelite people for them to accept that Moses leadership was from God in heaven.

We accepted Jesus as our saviour when we were teenagers. We are among the fruit of the spiritual revival among the youth of the years 1970s (1975-1976). We were spiritually raised by the Scripture Union Organisation called "Ligue pour la Lecture de la Bible" in French, (Scripture Union in English). It is an interdenominational organisation which helps evangelical churches, through many crusades, to raise disciples and train them how to serve God in their local churches. We have been also raised by and involved with the Pentecostal Church in Rwanda. We have experienced the power of obedience: to be born again, be baptised in water us Jesus did and receive the baptism of the Holly Spirit. We also have been active for many years in the GBU and post-GBU activities. GBU is a short cut of Groupes Bibliques Universitaires. This evangelical association is in almost 150 countries in the world and help university students to know more about the biblical principal and to be evangelist at University and at work place after university. We have been involved in evangelism and counselling in many local churches and ministries in Africa, Europe, USA and Canada. It is our hobby to be with people who want to be and stay connected to the word of God. From that rich spiritual back ground, we learned and we deeply believe that Jesus has true followers in all Churches and He only knows who truly belong to him. Our responsibility is to help people give their life to Jesus and receive Him as their personal saviour and then get ready to work for him. Our responsibility also is to love God with all our heart and to love others as we love ourselves. We have a special place in our heart for people who choose to make the name of Jesus be known and glorified. We believe in belonging to a big Christian family getting ready to meet with Jesus at anytime he comes to take his church.

After more than 30 years serving the Lord in many ways, God sent us in Church Planting Ministry. That is what we are doing in Windsor, Ontario from April 23, 2005. We are ready to plant and support other churches in Canada and all around the world. We believe that the church is the best place to help people grow spiritually and serve one another as members of one family for the harvest. (Mat.9:37-38). Every believer in Jesus should be accountable to his local church. Other wise, it is easy to live with a rebellion spirit for someone who refuses to belong to a church or who refuses to be coached by a pastor. That kind of person can find himself easily among the lost sheep.

God has been with us many years in our youth Christian life. We refused to get married to non believers. Today we are a happy family, ready to repent our sins before God every day and ready to help young people, young couples and families to get ready to be used by God for Jesus is coming soon to take his church. Happy are people who help one another to get ready for the harvest for the Kingdom of God. Those "shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper." Ps.1: 3.

We spent many years in university studies but we never found a better book to feed the spirit and soul of a human being than the Holly Bible. Each page of it has such an anointing able to attract human soul to Jesus himself. Without it, no matter who you are or where you come from, you dies alive. With it in your mind every day, you will live for ever and you will help multitude of lives get saved and live with God for ever. This message has become the reason of our living here on earth. Jesus is the reason of living for us. We are glad we serve an undefeatable God with Jesus and the Holly Spirit on our side. We invite everybody to do so, the only way of peace and everlasting life.
